Brooke Hogan Pays Heartfelt Tribute to Her Father, the Late Hulk Hogan

Following the passing of wrestling icon Hulk Hogan, his daughter Brooke Hogan has broken her silence with a deeply personal message celebrating their unshakable connection.
The wrestling legend, born Terry Gene Bollea, passed away last Thursday at the age of 71. On Tuesday, Brooke took to Instagram, offering two posts that reflected the depth of her grief and the powerful bond she shared with her father.
In one emotional tribute, Brooke reflected on the profound connection they shared — a relationship, she wrote, that went far beyond the spotlight and stage lights.
“My father’s spirit is part of my DNA,” she began. “His legacy lives in my children’s eyes. The thread that tied us together was never severed, not even in his final breath. What we shared couldn’t be described — it had to be felt.”
She went on to express gratitude for knowing her father not just as a celebrity or public figure, but as the man behind the myth. “There was a quiet understanding between us, something sacred and unspoken. People who saw us together could sense it.”
Brooke also addressed recent rumors that tried to cast doubt on their relationship. “Contrary to what’s been suggested, we didn’t have a falling out,” she clarified. “There were no fights. Just private conversations — personal, heartfelt, and heavy with meaning — that no one else will ever hear. He was opening up to me, sharing the weight on his shoulders, both professionally and emotionally.”
She revealed that in recent years, she and her husband moved to Florida to be near Hulk as his health declined. But as his condition worsened, he started pulling away. “He didn’t want me to see him vulnerable. There was a wall between us — something invisible but very real. I couldn’t reach him anymore,” she wrote.
Eventually, Brooke made the painful choice to give him space to protect her own heart, though her husband continued to stay in touch. “I know I did everything I could,” she said. “He knew I would walk through fire for him — and I did, over and over again. He understood how fiercely I loved him. That gives me peace.”
She ended her post by thanking friends, fans, and well-wishers for their overwhelming support. “The world feels different now,” she admitted. “But your love has helped me stay strong.”
In a second Instagram post, Brooke shared a moving video montage of moments with her father through the years, soundtracked by Stevie Nicks’ “Crystal.” In her caption, she wrote, “Thank you for choosing me to be your daughter. Thank you for loving me the way you did. I am proud of our bond — eternal, unbreakable.”
Her final words: “I love you more than stars in the sky. 4LifeAfterLife.”
